I have now found the iPad and learning how to use it has given me a whole new world.

Getting in touch with friends in Australia, New Zealand and America has been wonderful. Apart from having access to news, games, many and varied, there is so much else. My favourites would be Messenger and Email. These are so handy for keeping in touch when you don’t know the other person’s daily programme. Leaving messages just for them.

For me, it will never take the place of the ordinary phone. However, it has many wonderful uses.
